I crossed paths with Freddy and his friends in London, where I found myself pulled into the world of live music. Shooting Milky Chance and a few shows at the O2 Arena, I glanced up to see my work on the main screens—a moment that shifted everything. Back in Australia, Freddy brought me along for his tour, and from there, it all took off…

Back home, I began capturing local festivals and bands, using film to bring a raw, nostalgic feel — textured, unpolished, and full of character.

I started by shooting at small festivals like Marksenfest and working with Aussie artists like Rum Jungle, with my photos appearing on album covers, tour brochures, and marketing campaigns. But for me, it’s not just about the stage — I’m drawn to the energy of the crowd, the atmosphere, and the moments in between.

Back to shooting digital, but keeping that classic, nostalgic feel. Black and white strips everything back to its pure form — lights, shadows, and movements. The tools have changed, but the energy stays the same.
